Process Donations was started in 2008 by John Marion who continues to manage and maintain this website.

John has over 25 years experience working in the nonprofit sector, including humanitarian relief work and community development in Central Asia as well as administration, management, organizational development, and fundraising in the United States. John also trains groups in cross cultural communication and teaches comparative religion classes.

Content for the Process Donations website comes from the experience of actually doing fundraising and organizational development as well as research and input from other experts.
